Interior Renovation

Interior renovation of The Hogshead Building has included meticulous restoration of a gorgeous tin ceiling and reclaimed wood floors.

The first floor tin ceiling is estimated to have been installed around 1935, with incredible patterned cornices and egg & dart trim.  Matching parts needed to be custom fabricated for this restoration.

The tin ceiling extends across the entire large retail/commercial space, reflecting light in a soft glow.

Once the ceiling is finished, it is time to install the reclaimed oak barn wood flooring.

Wood flooring that had been on the first floor was reclaimed for use on the 2nd & 3rd floors so that there will be hardwood throughout.
